About this site
A south-coast outcrop near Binibeca beach, with varied life and tunnels, arches and holes creating beautiful backlight. Max 20 m, with routes adaptable to different levels. Photos: MERAK DIVING CENTER. Approximate coordinates (to be confirmed with the centre). Site operated by Merak Diving Center (Maó).
Operational description
Dive with boat entry at Es Cargol, designed for Open Water divers with group control, reading of the local current and a route adapted to sea conditions.
History and context
Es Cargol is part of the usual diving routes in Menorca. The page combines scenic value, local marine life and the recurring operations of centres and clubs in the Balearics.

Descent along the main reference, brief deep section, progress along the wall or drop-off, conservative turn and gradual return to the shallow zone.
