About this site

The Dique del Oeste is the breakwater that closes the Bay of Palma to the west. Along the dike several vessels have been deliberately sunk at different depths, between about 7 and 30 m, so the dive can be planned to the group's level: the shallow wrecks for beginners and the deep ones for Advanced divers. The breakwater blocks are colonised and concentrate a lot of life: groupers, conger eels, moray eels, nudibranchs and schools of damselfish. It is a harbour dive, so visibility depends on the wind and boat traffic, and coordination with harbour traffic is always handled by the centre.
