Site briefing

Cova Blava de na Mora briefing

About this site

The Cova Blava, also known as na Mora, opens at the foot of a high cliff on the coast north of Port de Sóller. Its hallmark is the colour: the water looks an intense blue which, according to the Caiac de Mar kayaking catalogue, is due to the depth below the entrance, an effect similar to the famous Cova Blava of Cabrera. It is reached by boat or kayak from Port de Sóller. If that depth is confirmed it would be one of the Tramuntana's beautiful cavern dives, but the figure needs verifying: the source is a kayaking catalogue and does not measure the bottom.
