Sheltered cove on Mallorca's east coast (Manacor), between low cliffs, with a rock-and-sand seabed and crystal-clear water. A very rewarding dive site, also ideal at night thanks to its easy access and shallow depth.

About this site
Cala Morlanda is a small cove on the Llevant coast, near Porto Cristo (Manacor). The seabed alternates rock, posidonia meadows and tongues of sand, with a maximum depth of around 14 m and very good visibility. The life is typical of the Balearic Mediterranean: groupers, white seabream, octopuses, moray eels and, at night, crabs, cuttlefish and all the nocturnal fauna that comes out to hunt.
The shore entry is easy, which makes it perfect for night dives. Bring a torch and a marker light. Watch out for boat traffic on the way in and out.
